Versatile Tesla SDU Subframe/Motor Mount for Volkswagen Vehicles by Unique EVs

The Unique EVs VW Tesla SDU subframe/motor mount has been designed to be suitable for the Volkswagen Kombi and can also be adapted for use with most VW Kombi and Split Screen models.

This Bracket is substantially stronger than relying on other bracket options currently on the market.

This motor mount provides easy bolt-in installation with most Tesla Electric motors.  The bracket allows for rear battery box mounting. 

The rear subframe section that we manufactured is made from 75mm x 50mm by 3mm wall thickness steel RHS. All 3 motor mounts are made from welded 6mm steel plate. The subframe is mounted to the original engine mount locations and the front motor mount picks up on the original gearbox mounting points.
